Steve Beaton, Jamie Hughes and Ryan Searle are the final players through to the second round at the European Darts Grand Prix in Sindelfingen.

Beaton edged out Stephen Bunting in a 6-4 victory to continue his brilliant form as of late as he continues to roll back the years and produce some of his best darts. He now will face Mensur Suljovic in Round Two tomorrow in what is bound to be a quality affair between the duo. Hughes smashed through Ricardo Pietreczko in a 6-1 win over the German with a high checkout of 151 en route. It wasn't vintage 'Yozza' which we've been used to seeing this year but he did enough to ease through. As a result he sets up another of the ties of the second round tomorrow when he takes on Adrian Lewis. Finally Searle edged out Glen Durrant in the final match of the night in a 6-4 win. He went 3-0 up but was pegged back to 3-2. Durrant levelled up but Searle then went 4-3 up. Searle kept on adding the legs when Durrant kept on coming back and this allowed him to claim the win. In the end he ended up winning 6-4 with 6/9 on the doubles with 3 ton plus checkouts with a high checkout of 119. Evening Session (19:15 local time, 18:15 BST) Vincent van der Voort (91.47) 6-4 (90.7) Dave Prins Chris Dobey (103.66) 6-0 (95.32) Madars Razma Dragutin Horvat (84.04) 3-6 (88.53) Gavin Carlin Stefan Bellmont (82.82) 2-6 (97.81) Jeffrey de Zwaan Daniel Klose (84.41) 3-6 (91.79) Keegan Brown Steve Beaton (92.96) 6-4 (95.94) Stephen Bunting Ricardo Pietreczko (76.95) 1-6 (90.44) Jamie Hughes Ryan Searle (91.48) 6-4 (97.86) Glen Durrant
