Corey Cadby has withdrawn from another event he was qualified for in November in the form of the Grand Slam Of Darts.
Cadby was originally in the field for the World Series Of Darts Finals this weekend but pulled out with a broken arm. It has not been specified why ‘The King’ will not be involved in Wolverhampton; but it will likely be ongoing visa issues.
Krzysztof Ratajski as a result has grabbed a potential lifeline. Ratajski claimed back to back Players Championship events in October. Unless there is no first time finalist this weekend, he will be involved in Wolverhampton.
It remains to be seen whether the Aussie will be able to take his place at the World Championship but that will likely be revealed soon enough.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
