Cross after claiming maiden World Series win: “It’s been a long time coming”

"The plan is to celebrate with a massive Aussie style BBQ, obviously. I'm bringing back cork hats for everyone and we'll have a good night. "I'm hoping that the weather in Hastings is like it has been in Brisbane. I might even take the dog Bolt for a walk down on the beach and have a swim. At least there's no sharks!" He added: "To be quite honest I don't think there's been any blips. My form is very close to what it was a year ago. "The difference is the expectation of me is much greater now because of winning the Worlds. I accept that and it's a good thing to be honest”.
