Durrant qualifies for German Darts Grand Prix after averaging nearly 111 in board final

Glen Durrant secured a second European Tour appearance this year after coming through the qualifier for the German Darts Grand Prix.
The three-time Lakeside champion booked a 6-1 victory over Kirk Shepherd in his board final to seal qualification for the third European Tour event of the season. Durrant averaged 110.7 and produced two 11-dart legs and a 12-darter en route to convincing win over the former World Championship finalist.
The Middlesbrough ace kicked off the afternoon with a narrow win against Gavin Carlin, who missed seven match-darts to beat 'Duzza'. In the board semi-final Durrant beat Nathan Rafferty 6-2 to progress to the final round.

It's great to have someone with Vincent's exprience address this issue, so hopefully clearer and stricter guidlelines can be given to referees, security and members of the crowd. No whistling during throws, and something like: whistlers evicted and fined a hefty sum.
