Gary Anderson wins 'Player of the Month' for March

In the second month of the Dartsnews.com Player of the Month, it has been voted that Gary Anderson wins the vote after Krzysztof Ratajski won the inaugural vote in February. 'The Flying Scotsman' claimed 33% of the vote which equates to 78/234 votes.

In March, he claimed three consecutive titles and going on a 20+ match unbeaten run in the process including winning the UK Open in the process proving he is still one of the best in world darts. Anderson won ahead of Corey Cadby who claimed 24% of the vote with 56 votes. Cadby reached the final losing to the eventual winner before returning to Australia to get married. He also claimed a DPA title in March. Michael van Gerwen was 3rd with 23% of the vote which equated to 54 votes just behind Cadby. MVG won 2 titles in March including the first Euro Tour of the year and showed good form in the Premier League. In last place with 20% of the vote was James Wade who returned to form with two semi-finals on the Euro Tour in the month of March as his form improved after a poor year for the former multiple major champion.
