Henderson on preparation ahead of facing Smith: “I’m going to prepare exactly the same”

Dartsnews.com spoke to ‘The Highlander’ afterwards about his preparation ahead of the game and he said he’s going to prepare exactly the same. He said he’s going to enjoy the festive period but still hit the practice board though.
‘I’m going to prepare exactly the same as against Gabriel. I’ll go home I’ll enjoy Christmas, in the night I’ll hit the practice board for a few hours and then on Boxing Day I’ll fly back to London.” said Henderson.
On being back after Christmas, Henderson has spoken in the past of how Christmas is never the same if you aren’t still involved and he summed it up as horrible but if you do come back it makes the festive period that bit more special.
“It’s horrible, every darts player will tell you. At this time of the year, Christmas is the Darts. If you lose before Christmas you go home and you still enjoy Christmas but if you are still in that tournament it just makes Christmas a bit more special.”
