Alan Norris saw off Scandinavian qualifier Kim Viljanen in a straight sets victory for the former Quarter-Finalist at the showpiece event at the Alexandra Palace. 'Chuck' spoke after his win and admitted that his experience counted for a lot over a player who only really plays around twice a year. He will now play the winner of Kim Huybrechts and James Richardson and looking at how he set about defeating his opponent yesterday he could be in for another good run at the World Championship. "Kim's a quality player," said Norris. "I think he's won seven out of the ten Scandanavian tournaments this year, but I'm getting more and more experience. "I'm up there on ProTour events, I'm up there on the stage nearly every month, with these guys it's still once a year or twice a year."
