Michael van Gerwen through to the final

Michael Van Gerwen the defending champion of the Dutch Darts Masters is on course to defend his title in Maastricht and will take on the winner of Steve Beaton and Peter Wright.
The crowd were on Michael Smith's back whistling for most of the contest when he throwed which affected the player who went 2-0 up before losing 6-2 and despite van Gerwen not being at his sparkling best throwing a 100 average to Smith's 104, he got through and will prepare for the final against one of those two players later on.
