Kevin Munch and
Kenny Neyens have secured places in the
World Darts Championship following qualifying events in Europe. Left-hander Munch, who previously competed in the 2012 World Championship at Alexandra Palace, won the German Superleague Finals in Monchengladbach on Saturday. He bounced back from a Group B loss to Rene Berndt by defeating Nico Kurz and Stefan Stoyke before overcoming Rene Eidams in the semi-finals. Munch then denied Dragutin Horvat a second successive World Championship appearance by winning the final 10-3. Sunday's Central Europe Qualifier in Maastricht saw youngster Kenny Neyens - a Development Tour event winner in 2016 and 2017 - win the all-Belgian final against Davyd Venken 6-4. The 22-year-old from Antwerp also defeated Davy van Baelen and Wesley Plaisier in the latter stages of the event as he secured a World Championship debut.
