Week two of the Premier League is coming up and part of this is our VIP Prediction League including the likes of current players Vincent van der Voort and Ron Meulenkamp as well as former players such as Keith Deller and Chris Mason.
After week one, Laure James leads the standings alongside Van der Voort and Deller. All the rest barring Meulenkamp are on one point with 'The Bomb' having to potentially make up some ground this week. The current leader is one of three to back Michael Smith in the first game in this weeks' Premier League. The rest are either draws or are in the favor of the 'BullyBoy' with Meulenkamp, Hendriks and Deller all picking him. Four out of the eight have backed Rob Cross in game two with Hendriks going for a Whitlock victory. The other three have all gone for a draw between the pair. All players have gone for a Van Gerwen victory in the third game of the evening. Three players have gone for Anderson to lose against Gerwyn Price potentially reflecting his back injury as of late. In the final game, Laure has gone for a Mensur Suljovic win but for the others it is mostly draws with four going for Raymond van Barneveld. The rules are very simple. Every week, they will predict the results of that week's play. Choosing the right winner will yield one point, while predicting a correct scoreline earns them three. There is no Judgement Night for our eight predictors, however. They will all play along until the play-offs at the O2 Arena in London on Thursday 17 May. Whoever has collected the most points after play concludes will be the first VIP prediction competition champion.
