Price edged out Daryl Gurney and survived three match darts in the process from ‘Superchin’.
He alongside Adrian Lewis are the two favourites for the title later now.
Price has a tough assignment though as he faces
Ryan Searle who took out home hope Martin Schindler.
Searle went 3-1 up but was pegged back to 4-3 including a 170 checkout from Schindler.
Despite that though Schindler could not complete the comeback and Searle won 6-3 to make his first
European Tour quarter-final.
