The prize fund for the upcoming Dutch Open have been revealed with a large number of players descending on Assen looking to come through the field.
The winner in the men’s though will claim £5,000 with the runner up claiming half of that with £2,500. The prize money goes all the way down to the last 65-128. In terms of the Ladies, the winner will receive £2,250 for winning; with the runner up getting £1,250. This only goes down to the last 32 where they receive £50. to view the draw for the Dutch Open. - It happens. Remember, anyone who has watched German and Dutch players in matches - their respective countries will have seen/heard just as bad jeering (if not worse). - Was watching an old World Masters final the other day between Eric Bristow and John Lowe, the crowd respect for both players on throw was first class, not a sound. You can imagine now the idiots who were whistling on De Deckers throw proudly boasting about it on social media. I even turned to my husband and said "Could you imagine this happening if Russ Bray was the referee tonight? At least there would have been a crowd admonishment- Ladies and Gentleman please."
