Despite it only being one event in out of 6, the UK Open Qualifiers already have multiple names who have assured their qualification to the tournament in Minehead. These include Michael van Gerwen, Michael Smith and Daryl Gurney.

Also they include the likes of Jose Justicia who had a brilliant first day barring his incident with Adrian Lewis who sits in third and through his Quarter-Final of the UK Open Qualifying appearance, if he can make a bit more money could be looking at a pretty high seeding at the tournament which takes place next month.
Ricky Evans sits in the last qualifying spot despite the fact him and up to 65th place which is Rob Cross have no money on the Order of Merit, as a result the players who are currently sitting on 250 pounds and upwards have a good chance or reaching Minehead if they can add more to their total.
As a result of this, this means they have stealed somewhat of a march on their fellow players.
