Steve West hits 111 average and 10-dart leg to beat King, Schindler too strong for Huybrechts

Steve West reached the third round of the International Darts Open with a spectacular match against Mervyn King. The Englishman threw an average of 111.29 against 'The King'.

The first leg went to King, but then 'Simply West' took over the lead with an 11-darter and a 14-darter to break his compatriot. West redeem the break with a brilliant 10-dart leg and finished the game with back-to-back 14-dart legs for the win.
Martin Schindler delighted the German crowd with a 6-1 victory over Kim Huybrechts. Darren Webster defeated Mickey Mansell 6-4, despite missing 24 darts on the doubles.
