Suljovic after keeping World Matchplay hopes alive by beating White: “I will keep trying my best to win”

Mensur Suljovic is through to the Quarter-Finals of the World Matchplay after coming through in a hard fought victory over Ian White at the Winter Gardens.

Due to the side of the draw he is on Suljovic has a major chance of claiming the title later this week and despite admitting himself that his performance wasn’t the best he was happy he won.
Also he added that despite there being players ahead of him in the running he will be trying his to be the winner.
"My performance was not that good, but I am so happy that I won," said Suljovic, the 2017 Champions League of Darts winner.
"It was a very hard game, Ian is a good player. There are lots of good players in this tournament who are favourites ahead of me but I will keep trying my best to win."
