Suzuki and O'Brien to face off in first confirmed Semi-Final at Lakeside

Mikuru Suzuki and Maria O'Brien will face off in the first confirmed semi-final in the Ladies draw at Lakeside after seeing off Sharon Prins and Fallon Sherrock respectively.

Suzuki saw off Prins in a match where she didn't not play anywhere near to the standard she played during her win over Lisa Ashton but she still came through in a straight sets win. Her opponent O'Brien by contrast came through in a straight sets win as well but over the highly fancied Fallon Sherrock who many say as the player to claim the title this week. This will not happen though with O'Brien continuing to improve on the stage and in this case she hit a 86 average over the Milton Keynes ace.
