Van Barneveld

The World Cup is only a few days away and it has been revealed ahead of the only team tournament on the PDC calendar that Raymond van Barneveld holds the title of having the most wins in single ties at the event.

This is in non-pair matches with him having 22 wins up until this year which sees him replaced in the tournament by Jermaine Wattimena. This is 'Barney's final year on the tour so he will not be able to add to his total.
Phil Taylor, who similarly is retired is next up picking up 19 wins in his career in the ties. His usual partner, Adrian Lewis figures fourth on the list with 15.
Michael van Gerwen is just before him with 18 and due to most players int he list no longer being involved in the event due to rankings or retirement, he seems logically the first choice to take over the top spot.
Other names on the list include Kim Huybrechts, Gary Anderson and Paul Nicholson who all figure further down the list.
