Michael van Gerwen GDO 18 1

Michael van Gerwen has mounted one of the most incredible comebacks in European Tour history coming from 6-2 down and on the verge of a loss to Daryl Gurney before coming back to win 7-6 and set up a final with Steve Lennon.

Neither player played brilliant at all especially Gurney who missed four match darts including 2 at D18 in the latter stages to knock out the World Number One.
The crowd though almost carried Van Gerwen to overturn the deficit and probably win him the title. Lennon though will be hoping to take advantage of the chances that Gurney didn't if MVG plays similarly in the final.
It all comes down to that final taking place shortly though with Steve Lennon taking on Michael van Gerwen in Zwolle.
