Michael van Gerwen has received a prestigious in the Netherlands. The Dutchman has been award with the Dutch equivalent of an MBE.
Van Gerwen received the Ridder in de Orde van Oranje-Nassau from the King of the Netherlands. Raymond van Barneveld has been awarded with the Dutch MBE title in 1999.
