It was a mark of 110.32 in his first round victory over Paul Nicholson. The first round was where we saw the vast majority of the highest averages at the European Championship.
Only Steve West and Simon Whitlock hit averages in the 100+ mark in the rest of the tournament. These both came in the Quarter-Final stage showing that the big averages weren’t needed to win games.
This showed with James Wade coming out on top in a typical performance by the Machine where he scraped through not averaging massively.
