Wales are through to the Quarter-Finals of the World Cup of Darts but survived a real scare in doing so. They had to go to the doubles decider against an unfancied Switzerland team of Alexander Fehlmann and Andreas Bless.

Fehlmann started off by defeating the captain of the Welsh team and Premier League star, Gerwyn Price. Price missed multiple darts to win the match in the deciding leg and the unknown Swiss player pinned D2 for a brilliant win and to cast Wales future in the World Cup of Darts in doubt.
That put all the pressure onto Jonny Clayton who delivered. 'The Ferret' whitewashed Bless who looked nervy throughout and he did so in the doubles decider as well.
Switzerland took an early lead against Wales but this was proven academic with Bless performing poorly which let down his partner. This allowed Wales a way through and they will play either Australia or Spain tomorrow.
