The first two ties of the second day of action at the Austrian Darts Championship are complete with James Wilson and Vincent van der Voort moving through to the final day.

Wilson edged past Steve Beaton in a 6-5 win which saw him take 'The Bronzed Adonis' to a last leg decider and survive a match dart en route. Despite that he held his nerve to move through against Beaton in a closely ran affair.

Van der Voort similarly edged through a closely ran tie after coming from 3-0 behind against Simon Whitlock before allowing 'The Wizard' only one more leg. He ended up winning 6-4 against the Aussie ace with a high checkout of 161 as he moved through to the second round in Vienna.
