Peter Wright safely passed through to the Quarter-Finals this evening with a 6-4 win over Ronny Huybrechts, Snakebite made amends for losing to the Rebel last week and despite only having a 90 average is still the favourite for the title.
Jelle Klaasen will join him after the Cobra defeated Peter Jacques. Klaasen didn't become the 3rd Dutchman to fall to the Terrier and hit a 93 average to show some form as he along with Wright will be up with the favourites.
Dennis Nilsson will face Ron Meulenkamp or Josh Payne after the Swede took out Dave Chisnall. Iron Man looked on the ropes but held his nerve to get back into proceedings and beat Chizzy in a deciding leg.
Ron 'The Bomb' Meulenkamp continued his comeback with the highest average of that quarter of the draw and defeated Josh Payne 6-3 and will face Dennis Nilsson in an all unseeded battle meaning at least one unseeded player will reach their first Euro Tour semi-final and will be in a real shout of winning a Euro Tour.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
