Robert Owen and Chas Barstow have qualified as the final two players for the final group during the eighth week of play in the MODUS Online Live League.
Owen had already made the strongest start in this group on Thursday with three wins and added three more on Friday night. He beat Stephen Burton (4-1), James Richardson (4-1) and Wayne Warren (4-3) and only lost to Chas Barstow (4-1).
Barstow became second in the group because of this win. The Englishman had eight points, just like Burton and Richardson, but Barstow had the best leg difference of the three.
The final group of this week will be played on Saturday. This group also includes Arron Monk, Scott Baker and Colin Osborne.
Unlike the first edition of the MODUS League in 2020, the game will not be played online via a webcam connection, but at a location in Southampton, England. The matches can be followed via the Online Darts YouTube channel.
