Friday night the titles on the Amateur Darts Circuit (ADC) were back on the line. Once again,
Kevin Painter and
James Richardson competed for the European belt.
Formerly known as Modern Amateur Darts (MAD), the
ADC is run by Steve Brown. With this organization, you have world European and national champions who hold belts. These players can be challenged for a monetary fee.
In the summer, Painter had challenged then belt holder Richardson and 'The Artist' took the title by defeating his compatriot 10-8.
Richardson, however, was now out for revenge and challenged Painter. 'Ruthless' got off to an energetic start in the title match, leading 5-2 and 9-7. Painter, however, managed to reverse the break deficit twice. Third time was the charm, as Richardson forced the third break and took the win 11-9.
