Lisa Ashton claimed her Tour Card at the start of the year becoming the first ladies player to come through Q-School outright.
Speaking to Tungsten Tales, Ashton reflected on her start to life in the PDC and admitted she is loving every minute. "They've welcomed me really well. It's been a bit strange with this virus and everything; but we're getting there and we have to get used to it," said Ashton to Tungsten Tales.
"It's brilliant, the setups, the tournaments are run completely different to what I'm used to. I'm loving it."
Also reflecting on the PDC Women's Series, Ashton
echoed previous comments and urged all ladies to enter and have a go.
"It's a brilliant thing for the ladies game. It couldn't come at a better time for anybody in the game; but to finally give these ladies the chance. I hope just the ladies back it up and all enter and have a go. It just shows what I've gone through, what Fallon has gone through."
"There's more opportunities for every lady now to have a go and take it and hopefully put more on the scene."
