Aspinall, Noppert and Andersen among players missing Players Championship weekend in Wigan

In terms of withdrawals from the latest round of Players Championship action, it is very much the same as the opening weekend with Nathan Aspinall, Danny Noppert and Michael Unterbuchner among those deciding against playing in Wigan.

Aspinall has an injury which he is looking to rest up and heal, while Noppert has just become a dad for the first time.

Vladimir Andersen was noted as having COVID-19 and seemingly he is yet to recover from withdrawing just before last weekend.

While Unterbuchner and Zoran Lerchbacher also didn't make the trip last weekend and so five miss out overall.
