Australian darts players have highest win rate since European Tour inception as 100th event takes place this weekend

This weekend the International Darts Open will be played in Riesa. It's the 100th tournament since the inception of the European Tour in 2012.

Players from 35 different countries have already taken part in tournaments since the European Tour was founded. With 58.7%, Australia has the highest winning percentage, followed by Portugal with 57.8% and Scotland with 57.1%. The Netherlands can be found just outside the top three with 55.5%.

Five players

That Australia leads the list is not surprising when you know that the five players who have ever been in action on the European Tour (Corey Cadby, Simon Whitlock, Kyle Anderson, Damon Heta and Paul Nicholson) all have a win rate well above 50¨%.
