Sebastian Bialecki has claimed his first European
Development Tour title defeating Geert Nentjes to win Event Eight in Niedernhausen.
The promising Polish talent saw off Nentjes 5-4, Roman Benecky 5-2, Tomas Houdek 5-1, Ole Holtkamp 4-1, Gijsbert van Malsen 4-2, Danny Jansen 4-1 and Felix Stein 4-0.
But it was also an event which saw Rusty-Jake Rodriguez extend his lead further at the top of the Order of Merit. he now sits on £9,000 after reaching the semi-finals ahead of Niels Zonneveld, Nentjes and Jurjen van der Velde as well as now Bialecki and Kevin Doets who are the players likely fighting for the World Championship spot now.
