For eagle eyed darts viewers, they will notice that Jonny Clayton always plays with a 97 under the back of his collar on his shirt.

Clayton explained the reasoning in an interview with Viaplay with his close friend Joe Cullen also having a Man United emblem similarly.

"It's the mark of respect for the 97 people that died in the Hillsborough disaster, I'm a massive Liverpool fan, I just wear it as a mark of respect just for the families, so that we don't forget," he said to Viaplay.

"I'm a big Liverpool fan, my uncle is a LIverpudlian so in the 80's I'd be round my relatives house and Liverpool would always be on. It stuck and I was a fan from there, we've been through some rough times and good times."
