Dave Chisnall threw the highest average at the tenth
Players Championship tournament of the season on Tuesday. In his first round against Tim Wolters, he threw an average of 114.03.
All seven legs went out in a maximum of 14 arrows. A 13-darter, 12-darter and two 14-darters gave Chisnall a very quick 4-0 lead. Wolters then took the fifth leg with a 14-darter, before the Englishman closed with an 11-darter and a 13-darter.
Gary Anderson was the only other player to record an average above 110. He recorded an average of 111.17 in his match win against Matthew Dennant (6-2). Cameron Menzies recorded the third highest average of the tournament with 108.76.
