This comes after edging past Paul Nicholson in a 5-4 victory coming from 4-2 behind to claim the tie winning three legs on the bounce.
He hit two 180’s and 41% on his doubles to continue his brilliance which he had shown basically all week.
Andy Jenkins and previous double winner Wessel Nijman have also been excellent. For the former he came through against Paul Nicholson as well in what was a hard fought victory 5-3 but he made it four points from a possible six on the process.
For Nijman it was nearly maximum points so far as well as he made it two from three with a 5-3 victory over Mark Webster.
This featured four 180s and 5/7 on the doubles for the young Dutchman who will hope to stretch his lead in the overall standings despite not winning today.
