The second day of the first stage at the UK Q-School was completed in Milton Keynes on Tuesday. Nick Kenny was one of the players who managed to qualify for the second stage.
Kenny, a former Tour Card holder, won 5-1 over Robert Rickwood in the last sixteen. The 29-year-old Welshman posted an average of 103.47 in the process. No one did better on Tuesday.
McGuirk and Warner
Besides Kenny, there were two more players who managed to score above 100 average. Shane McGuirk did so in his 5-2 win at the last 512 against Kurt Parry. The Irishman achieved 101.25 average in the process, but is not yet sure of qualifying for the second stage of Q-School.
Finally, Adam Warner achieved 101.06 average in the last 32, but still went down 5-3 against former World Championship finalist Andy Hamilton. Warner too is not quite sure of qualifying for the second stage.
