Humphries gunning for Premier League Darts spot: "We're starting to get the younger players, lets mix it about"

Luke Humphries will face off against Gary Anderson this afternoon in the Quarter-Finals of the 2021/22 PDC World Darts Championship.

It is the third time 'Cool Hand Luke' has reached this point and he is hoping to use his experience after his previous two to go one better.

"It is a great stat for me - three quarter-finals now out of five…. I think it's time now for me to kick on.

"The last two quarter-finals I was very new to the tour. I've got more knowledge now and much more experience to go into the next game with a lot more ambition to go further."

But he also has Premier League Darts in his sights and believes a revamp is needed.

"The future is looking great. This has always been an older man's sport, now we're starting to get the younger players in, but put us all in the Premier League, lets mix it about," he added.
