Dimitri van den Bergh lost out in his opening match of the Premier League Darts to eventual finalist Michael Smith in Liverpool but for Van den Bergh, it is all about the positives and bouncing back.
"I think tonight was one of my weakest games. The only thing I can do now is bounce back stronger. I know I'm playing really well, I just had a really tough week behind me at the UK Open and Exeter," said Van den Bergh to Online Darts.
"I've done a really good job against Chris Dobey in the first round in Exeter and then I managed to get myself into the semi-finals of the UK Open so it's all about taking the positives. It wasn't meant to be tonight, I really wanted it but I'm a human being pure and simple."
Also he was told about the revamped World Cup of Darts format with pairs only and is looking forward to teaming up with Kim Huybrechts once more.
"I love new experiences, it makes me very curious so we will see. Me and Kim so far are Belgium's team as far as I can see, we know how we can play but we definitely know how Australia played against us last time."
