Former major champions Adrian Lewis and Robert Thornton are among the eight qualifiers for the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton.
Lewis secured his place in the cross-code event as he saw off Steve West in the final round. Thornton defeated Jermaine Wattimena to qualify for the
Grand Slam of Darts for the first time since 2016. Brendan Dolan also booked qualifying success after overcoming Arron Monk 5-1.
Gabriel Clemens secured a tournament debut after edging out Ricky Evans. Tipton ace Jamie Hughes fought past Darius Labanauskas to reach the main tournament. Ryan Harrington qualified for the Grand Slam after edging out James Wilson, as he beat Ronny Huybrechts, Ted Evetts and Jeffrey de Zwaan en route to the final round. Darren Webster and Ross Smith claimed the other two qualifying spots.
