Thankyou to all my fans for all the lovely messages over the past few weeks. It means so much to be able to start winning some matches again. Knowing that your all behind me whether I'm winning or losing. #Dontstoptheparty
Peter Wright reached his first nightly final of the 2023 Premier League Darts on night 10 in Birmingham and although it would end in defeat against Jonny Clayton, Wright is staying upbeat.
“Obviously it’s a positive. What I’ve been doing in the Premier League has not been good," Snakebite admits. Although as mentioned, Wright reached his first final and gained three further points, The Scotsman still remains rooted to the bottom of the table. Four points behind Dimitri Van den Bergh and ten points of the play-offs.
“It’s nice to get a couple of wins under my belt. I was just tired in the final. Maybe it was just old age!” Wright joked following his narrow 6-5 defeat to Clayton. Next week at the Brighton Centre in Brighton, Snakebite will be up against Nathan Aspinall in the quarter-final.
