Nijman hits 112 average to see off Taylor in brilliant display to begin A Night At The Darts Group Five

Nijman averaged 112.4 to begin proceedings to win 4-1 against the 16 time World Champion. Taylor himself played his part with a 105.76 average but could only have two darts at doubles throughout the whole match as it was a near perfect performance from the Dutchman.

He hit 4/5 (80%) of his doubles including two ton plus checkouts with a high checkout of 109 and the duo hit five 180's a piece as Nijman carried on from where he left off last night.

A Night At The Darts is a competition that runs in conjunction with the Icons of Darts League. Each playing week consists of six players. There are five players on each matchday with one player taking a rest.

Each evening like the day consists of four matches for each player with the player with the most wins claiming the group win.
