The World Cup of Darts is set to take place from 6-8 November in Salzburg, Austria initially in front of a crowd but on Saturday, they were the latest country to go into lockdown from next Tuesday onwards.
For the time being, there are no plans to change location. It is clear that in any case, no fans are allowed to be present for the event which is why the PDC have already decided to stop ticket sales.
Due to this situation, the European Championship is the last tournament being played in front of fans for the time being. There is also huge doubts continuing about the World Championship having any fans due to the UK now being in lockdown for four weeks until December 2 from Thursday onwards.
