The Netherlands went out against Germany in the Quarter-Finals of the World Cup of Darts and Danny Noppert in particular disappointed with his performance.
"It was a somewhat strange preparation, because of Michael's injury it was after all uncertain for a long time whether we would be able to play. But that should not be an excuse, Michael still threw quite well, but it absolutely didn't work out for me", said Noppert at RTL 7.
"I'm really fed up with this, I'm sorry that I pitched so badly", Noppie continues . "On television it just doesn't work to reach my normal level, so the disappointment is enormous."
