The recent World Matchplay final between Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price was one to savour, but so was the final four years ago.

The 2018 World Matchplay final became the longest final in the history of this tournament. After a thrilling tiebreak, Gary Anderson managed to finally break Mensur Suljovic 21-19.
