Gerwyn Price begins his World Darts Championship campaign against either Connor Scutt or Krzysztof Kciuk with a potential latter stage meeting with Gary Anderson.
On a collision course with the Flying Scotsman, he harks back to his World Championship win over his recent Grand Slam loss.
"I think I've only ever played Gary once in the World's and everyone knows what happened then. I lift the trophy. So hopefully when I meet Gary, I can turn the tables on him from what happened in the Grand Slam," said Price to Online Darts.
He also discussed the Night of Champions where 11 were on stage for the first time ever and admitted it spurred him on for future titles.

"I'm proud as punch to be part of history. I'm playing well enough to win any tournaments but sometimes you have a rub of the green. As long as I keep playing well and I keep knocking on the door, one time it will open and there will be a trophy there for me to pick up."
