Devon Petersen recently sat down and spoke to the Heart and Hand podcast who are dedicated to Rangers FC with the topics including growing up in South Africa, his media career and blazing a trail for African darts.

Being a football podcast, the question was asked about his allegiances with 'The African Warrior' being a known Liverpool fan and he spoke about the difference growing up supporting them to now when they are on the verge of winning their first Premier League in it's current iteration.
"Our house was Liverpool. There was no chance of me supporting another team and I'm so glad I did. There was a small handful of Liverpool fans at our school as well.
Most of the kids wanted to be with the champion team so when we did get a win over Manchester United, it was like winning the league. Now is slightly different," said Petersen on the Heart and Hand podcast.
"It's not the celebration as internally we are the champions, the monkey is off our back now. Now being the most dominating team in the world at this moment in time, it's great being a fan of. We practised social distancing before social distancing became a thing."
