Ratajski after dramatic sudden death victory over Clemens: "I usually lose close matches but today I was lucky"

Krzysztof Ratajski is through to the Quarter-Finals of the 2020/21 PDC World Darts Championship after a sudden death thriller win over Gabriel Clemens.

Ratajski and Clemens shared multiple match darts in a nail biting affair but 'The Polish Eagle' is the first Polish player through to this stage in a World Championship.

He spoke afterwards and admitted that usually he'd lose a game like that so luck is on his side.

"It was so emotional. I don't remember ever having a match like this before," said Ratajski who became the first Polish player ever to reach a World Championship quarter-final.

"The last leg was terrible. It was crazy. I usually lose close matches but today I was lucky."
