Callan Rydz is in the provisional spots for both the World Matchplay and World Grand Prix after claiming his maiden ranking title during the Super Series but the PDC Young Player of the Year isn't thinking about that.
Rydz said during a recent interview with the Weekly Dartscast that he is firmly of the viewpoint that until confirmed, he isn't thinking about it.
"I think it'll just be one step at a time. If I do qualify for any events then happy days but you've just got to take everything as it comes because every game of darts you play is different," said Rydz to the Weekly Dartscast.
"Everyone on the Pro Tour has the game to knock you out. They have got a 100 average in them easy to knock you out. I know I'm in the Matchplay and Grand Prix spots, but there's still loads of time to go for that. I'm not thinking about that yet."
"You want to win the World Youth. The games I've lost in the World Youth have been very good games."
