Ross Smith recovers to battle past Gurney, Aspinall edges past Razma

The next Quarter-Final is set at the 2023 European Darts Grand Prix with Ross Smith set to face Nathan Aspinall later this evening.

Smith had to recover to see off Daryl Gurney 6-4. He had to come from 3-1 down to prevail over ‘Superchin’.

It was a match that featured 29 match darts at doubles with both failing on the outer ring, but it was the European Champion that prevailed.

While Aspinall edged past Madars Razma ending the run of the Latvian 6-4.

It was an impressive display from ‘The Asp’ who averaged 99 and four 180’s and will now face Smith.
