Schedule for Day One of PDC Europe Super League including Hopp, Schindler and Kurz

The PDC Europe Super League starts on Saturday. This tournament was formerly known as the German Super League and is used to determine the German spot for the PDC World Darts Championship.

Among the 24 participants are Max Hopp, Martin Schindler and Nico Kurz. The German number one Gabriel Clemens is excluded from participation because he is in the top-32 of the world rankings. The 24 players have been split into four groups and all will play once on Saturday against the other players in their group.

The 24 participants are divided into four groups of six darts. In each group, the players will play each other twice in a format of best of 11 legs on April 17-18. Each victory earns one point for the ranking.

Four players from each group will go through to the next round, which therefore consists of sixteen players. These will then be split into two groups of eight players. On April 19-20 they will play twice against the other players in their group. The four best players of both groups will go through to the final phase of the PDC Europe Super League.

From this stage onwards, all matches are knockout competitions. The quarter-finals will be played over best of 17 legs on April 21. The four remaining players will throw their semi-finals over best of 19 legs on April 22, followed by the final over best of 21 legs.
