Michael Smith was superb this past weekend as he sealed the Dutch Darts Championship in Zwolle but en route he broke a 180 record showing this form.
He hit 27 in all which was a new record thrown by a player in a sole European Tour event as per DartsOrakel. It eclipses Devon Petersen’s record of 26 from 2020.
It is also the third ranking tournament in 2022 for which he has broken the record in.
