From 28 to 30 January, the Masters 2022 is set to begin the PDC Calendar. In this article you will find the highest tournament averages in the history of this tournament.
What is striking about the list is that the winner often has a particularly high tournament average. For example, in four of the nine editions the winner had a tournament average of over 105.
The highest tournament average is in the name of Michael van Gerwen. The Dutchman won the 2017 tournament with a tournament average of 106.07. Gary Anderson was that year's losing finalist, but also played an excellent tournament with a tournament average of 105.49.
Van Gerwen also had a tournament average above 105 in 2018 (105.41) and 2016 (105.08). Phil Taylor did the same in 2013 with 105.38.
