Van Barneveld sends voice note to O'Sullivan sparking nine-dart finish v 147 debate: "The question is what is harder"

The ever continuing debate between what is harder in terms of a snooker 147 break v nine-dart finish was continued by a darts player this time in the form of Raymond van Barneveld.

For Eurosport, Ronnie O'Sullivan answered questions and in particular was sent a voice note by the doyen of Dutch darts who himself thought snooker was harder.

"I have a question for Ronnie O'Sullivan. It's Raymond van Barneveld here. The question is what is harder a 147 break or a perfect nine-dart finish in darts. I think a snooker break," said Van Barneveld in his voice note.

"I think the 147 must be harder, but listen I'm not here to say one is harder and one's not harder. I think what you guys do on a dart board and the way you make it look so easy is just unbelievable so total respect to you guys.

"You're one of the heavyweights of darts, just to be able to make a nine-darter or 147 is a great achievement but I tend to agree with you. We have 36 shots. We have to do four times the amount of work you do.
